Your Environment is a Self-Portrait

Author: Kate Corbin

Are you aware that, whenever you think a thought or feel a feeling, you are broadcasting a vibration out into the Universe? Then, like a magnet, your vibration connects with people and situations of like vibration, attracting them back into your Life. Your environment is in reality a self-portrait - a perfect composite of your thoughts and feelings.

According to the Universal Law of Attraction, you magnetize and attract to yourself whatever you focus on. Thus, your environment is your canvas and you are continually painting the picture of your life with your thoughts and feelings. When you apply the Law of Attraction and focus your thoughts and feelings on what you want instead of what you don't want, your environment will exhibit a self-portrait that thrills you in every way.

"The environment that you find yourself in, whether favorable or not, is the product of your own life. Most people, however, fail to understand this, and tend to blame others for their troubles." - Daisaku Ikeda

Thought-Feelings are Magnets. I like to view thoughts and feelings as one hyphenated word - Thought-Feelings - because thoughts produce feelings. When you think a thought, it is always accompanied by a vibrationally equivalent feeling. You attract in accordance with your Thought-Feelings.

For example, if you think about and imagine yourself feeling exuberantly healthy all the time, you are attracting vibrant good health. If you worry about some dreaded illness and read scary statistics about the vast numbers of people who are afflicted with it, you are attracting illness.

Your Environment is a Self-Portrait. Your environment is a reflection of who you think you are and what you believe you can have. If it appears that the Universe is saying NO to your requests, it is merely reflecting the fact that you believe you cannot have what you desire. You are always a vibrational match to your circumstances. It all comes from inside.

The Thought-Feelings you transmit are busily calling to and gathering other Thought-Feelings of like vibration. Strong positive thoughts and feelings such as love and joy are powerful magnets drawing to you things you desire. Strong negative thoughts and feelings such as fear and hate are powerful magnets drawing to you things you definitely do not desire. You attract into your life the people and circumstances that are in vibrational harmony with your Thought-Feelings. As you change your Thought-Feelings, your environment - your self-portrait - changes accordingly.

Clear the Clutter. Because everything carries a vibration, a cluttered environment can negatively affect your life. Hanging on to clutter - it doesn't matter if it's physical or emotional - blocks Life Force Energy and Well-Being. An uncluttered environment brings a feeling of relief and clarity. Clearing clutter from your environment, releasing things you no longer want or need, clears the way for allowing in what you do want.

As you understand the process by which you attract people and things into your life, it becomes clear that you are creating your own self-portrait. Then, if you choose, you can modify your Thought-Feelings and paint a new portrait of your life that pleases you in every way.
