Recieve The Gift of Acceptance

Author: Steve Brunkhorst

Would you like to feel more accepted and appreciated? Acceptance is a gift that you can attract to yourself. The gift of acceptance begins with self-acceptance.

Many people who feel a lack of acceptance begin seeking it from others before seeking it internally. In denying self-acceptance, they are rarely satisfied with the acceptance they receive; or, they may completely block their awareness of the kindnesses and acceptance that others try to convey.

A perfect Creator made and accepted us as His children. His acceptance is a spiritual gift we must receive through faith. Then, we must allow this spiritual light to shine from the inside out. We, too, must make acceptance a gift to others.

Acceptance is best viewed as a part of our total being that we give to our relationships, careers, and world. It is like removing a filter which blocks the heart's glow. Then our perception is transformed; we can see the reflection of our heart-light in others.

We each have a unique purpose and a unique way to express our gifts. Acceptance allows us to express ourselves meaningfullyto share our time and talents in compelling ways.

Expressing our abilities in ways that align with our values and purpose also supports our acceptance of others. It enables us to respect those who have views, purposes, and paths that differ from our own. It leads to mutual acceptance and love. Prayers of gratitude and focused meditation can also heighten our awareness of acceptance.

The gift of acceptance truly is a blessing, yours to enjoy and share. Allow its light to shine upon everyone you meet. It will brighten your world and bring you much joy in all the important areas of your life.
